Still

I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.

This image was my contribution to this beautiful project in 2010. It was made in Angra dos Reis – Rio de Janeiro. A place who was also a victim of the forces of nature in that same year.

Eu queria um final perfeito. Agora eu aprendi, da maneira mais difícil, que alguns poemas não rimam, e algumas histórias não têm um claro começo, meio e fim. A vida é não saber, ter que mudar, aproveitar o momento e fazer o melhor dele, sem saber o que vai acontecer a seguir.
